To ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants, the USTA has developed "Safe Play." Safe Play embodies the USTA’s commitment to respect and safety for every individual participating in a USTA event or program through the use of screening, education and reporting tools.

Congratulations to your team for qualifying for the USTA SC JTT Summer State Championship. Please follow the instructions below to register players who will be participating at the state championship. In order to register, your team must be added into the Match Tennis Team app. Please let me know at price@sctennis.com if your team plans to participate.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING
JTT TEAMS MUST BE REGISTERED BY JULY 12, 2023.
PLAYERS AND CAPTAINS MUST BE REGISTERED IN MATCH TEAM APP BY JULY 17, 2023.
IF YOUR TEAM HAS NOT REGISTERED BY THE DEADLINE, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.

PLAYERS MUST BE CURRENT USTA MEMBERS THROUGH THE CHAMPIONSHIP
PLAYERS MUST HAVE PLAYED THE MINIMUM TWO (2) MATCHES, & TEAMS MUST HAVE PLAYED THE MINIMUM THREE (3) MATCHES TO QUALIFY.
TEAM DEPOSIT CHECK REQUIRED
o   EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A TEAM DEPOSIT OF $150.
o   DEPOSITS WILL BE SUBMITTED BY CREDIT CARD THROUGH MATCH TENNIS. CREDIT CARDS WILL ONLY BE CHARGED SHOULD AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE BE APPLIED TO THE TEAM (DEFAULTED COURTS, TEAM WITHDRAWING FROM CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER DRAWS PUBLISHED, ETC.)

Match Tennis Team App
We will be using the Match Tennis Team app to facilitate the following for the USTA SC State Championships.
·      Registration
·      Allow captains to submit scorecards online.
·      Allow players to receive text notification that their court is ready.
·      Allow players to submit scores (after their match).

THERE WILL BE AN ONLINE CAPTAINS MEETING ONE EVENING THE WEEK OF THE EVENT TO REVIEW THE MATCH TENNIS TEAM APP AND GO OVER ANY QUESTIONS PEOPLE MAY HAVE – TIME TBD. CAPTAINS WILL BE ABLE TO PICK UP THEIR PACKETS AT THEIR FIRST MATCH. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR PACKETS 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH.
